I enjoyed it. The ending wasn't quite what I expected. I thought Kurumi was up to something. After Yoshino saw Kurumi and Shidou at the wedding chapel and later Shido's wish I thought Kurumi was trying to stir up trouble with the other girls to maybe have them cause space quakes.But it turned out that Kurumi had to no ill will.

Dat OST really helped with the feels.
And hopefully, clone Kurumi will see Shidou once more. (T_T)

Which was no wonder. She felt relived because it was exactly what she was doing then.

Why do all OVAs usually have worse quality subs? Do the sub groups for the original series not sub the OVA as well?
On a more relevant note, very enjoyable episode. Wish Tohka/Kotori/Yosh didn't spring up at the last moment since Kurumi wanted to "talk with him" (unless that was implying killing him) and I was interested in what would've happened. A plot twist I wasn't expecting. That, and I also loved the OST <3

I absolutely loved this OVA. I think Kurumi is one of the best developed characters in the series. This was totally deserved for her, to have a whole episode for her. The ending was so sad, I couldn't help but feel chills when I saw it. However, the ost at the end just didn't fit, both when the "clone" kurumi was being consumed and when Shido was hanging her wish up. But then again, the writers were probably thinking that if they made that scene any sadder, everyone would burst into tears lol. But I loved the OVA in general, i can't wait till season 3.

I also love how Kotori write she wants to marry Shidou! Haha, she was pretty much underdeveloped in Season 2 with no affection to Shidou, and that the OVA redeems some of the missing aspect from Season 2. Also her reaction to Shidou getting married with someone else, made her jealous! I want to see more Kotori!
Also at the epilogue where Kotori is going to write it again! Hahaha I'm looking forward for more Kotori, for a main character, she's the least character that giving Shidou any affection.
Although I like Kurumi, I also like Kotori (Efreet). The two of them are best characters that have their moments in the OVA!
Although doesn't this makes her contradict herself? If she love Shidou so much that she don't want any woman to go near him, why is she keep on making Shidou getting on those dates? Even she was alright with Shidou kissing Tohka multiple times and makes him to do something like dating...

Kotori loves Shido more than anything else, which we have no reason to doubt. However, she believes she must save Spirits other than herself at the same time. Someone having a kiss with Shido just once or two would be okay with her. She even hopes Shido saves more Spirits. But, you know, if someone tries to steal him from her , that is out of the question.
Ohoka also said that she hoped Shido to save more Spirits; and that she felted uneasy when she saw him kissing someone else. No wonder, that's how maiden's mind should be from the beginning of history.

Really liked this kumumi!! I wouldn't mind if her personality was that throughout the series. Sad to see her go thought... Definitly waifu material. I love tohka more than Kumumi though. She can have 2nd place :3

This episode was unexpectedly sad. Did not see that coming BibleThump. Great season 2 though, I'm becoming to like this series even more. Can't wait for the movie! (and I wish season 3).

Rule of time:
Past remains unchangeable, this Kurumi is the history of original Kurumi, means that original Kurumi has fallen in love with Shido, this OVA has shown that side of Kurumi, I'm impressed.
However, past and present are different from each other. I mean, whatever Kurumi's clone has done or does, that is not denying a fact that Kurumi remains a psycho killer, a cunt.
I rate this 4/5, heartwarming OVA, Kurumi sometimes has a good side. Looking for next season if available.

But…. While I watched Date-A-Live, I was not much of a fan. (I far preferred 'Ah my Goddess' and 'The world God only know.' I watched the remaining episode on my laptop while stuck in hospital with nothing else to do but I was utterly floored by the encore OVA! (Despite the duff subtitling.)
Dropping all previous AMV ideas I am editing up an 'encore' AMV.
I am working hard to make sure it keeps the 'feelz,' is not just a 'here's lip flapping clips with a rock sountrack thrown on it' job and adding … something extra.
Sweet Kurumi is serious WAIFU material. I had to look that word up after all the comments online regarding this episode!

This was just hilarious! Rather amusing n adorable! Love this episode, best i have seen! Date with Kurumi, and quite normal (ish) Kurumi, as we head on to Wedding photo memories awwwwwww!!!! n watch writing n hanging Tanzaku, kotori face when tohka asked what she is writing xD as well what she wrote is just dying for xD Feel really bad for Yoshino and Yoshinon, like seriously, wha the fuu Kurumi xD Feel also quite sad for Kurumi ;_; that s has too end like that There better be another season!!! but there is a movie i haven't watched yet..! lets watch it now!!
